This event was the largest powerlifting meet in the state of Alabama in 2022! Formerly known as the Golden Ape Power Challenge, THE BIG APE is moving over to the WRPF and will add even more fun and excitement to this year's event!
We will make sure there's plenty of food, the Alabama & Auburn football games on the 2 giant big screens, a major cornhole tournament, and a dual platform meet with some of the best lifters in the South.
Charlie Lyons has been the director for this event the past 5 years and we are pleased he and his team will be back again to ensure we have the best possible meet.
