Gates will open at 2pm next Saturday the 3rd of June, with the event "officially" kicking off at 2.30pm! The event finishes at 8.30pm.
Please arrive on time to get the best seats in the house!

This is located where Queen Street meets the Gold Coast Highway, directly opposite Carey Car Park.

Can I dress up in my amazing 80’s Decade Fancy Dress?
OMG YES, seriously if you don't you will be totally disappointed! There is a best dressed competition and other immersive FUN for those that get their costume on! Check out pics HERE from other events for inspiration.
Should I bring a chair or picnic blanket?
Yes, please bring something to sit on (either a chair or picnic blanket). Seats are provided in the VIP area only.
What are event parking and transport options?
PARKING
Public car park bays at Carey Car park, located directly across from Broadwater Parklands. This is allocated on a first come basis.
If parking in the surrounding areas, please make sure you park safely and legally.Click here to view the City’s Parking Guidelines.
RIDESHARE/ TAXI
Pickup/dropoff at the existing Taxi Rank on Nerang Street, east of Scarborough Street.
In addition, there will be a designated pickup/drop off zone on the Gold Coast Hwy.
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
It is strongly recommended to travel by public transport where possible.

G Link Tram stops at 'Broadwater Parklands', directly across the HWY from the event.
Bus routes that run near the venue are 704, 735, and 747.
ACCESSIBLE PARKING INFO
Limited parking for accessible permit holders is located in Carey car park directly opposite the venue.
I can no longer attend the event, what can I do with my tickets?
If you can no longer attend the event, feel free to gift/resell your tickets. As tickets are transferable, there is no need to change names if you can no longer attend. Refunds are not honoured if you can no longer attend.
I have VIP tickets, where do I go?
It is very important that on arrival to the event you enter through the “VIP LINE” at the EVENT ENTRY GATES to receive a wristband to access this area. Look for the PINK flags at the event entry. The VIP area in the event will be clearly signed, just head towards the stage and look for the PINK flags.
Tables and chairs are provided in the area, this area is only accessible by wristband. Seats are not assigned and are allocated on a first come basis, there are enough chairs for everyone. This area has access to the upfront dance floor. Access to private toilets, Express entry line, and VIP allocated lines in the bar.
The VIP area is currently SOLD OUT, however on the event day some additional tickets might become available. Please check at the "Event
Info” line at the event bar to enquire.
What should I bring to prepare for the BEST DAY EVER?
*A chair or picnic rug. Seats are provided with VIP tickets.
*A clear sealed or empty plastic bottled water (still or sparkling) up to 1.5L in size. There will be free drinking water to keep you hydrated at the event.
*Both Card and some Cash lines will be available at the bar and food vendors. There will be no ATM on site.
*A soft cooler bag with ice, if you plan on drinking bottle wine! Soft cooler bags up to supermarket size (26L) only, no hard/large cooler boxes allowed.
*A reusable plastic wine cup, to help the environment! (if you plan on drinking bottle wine)
*Your event ticket, either printed or shown on your phone at event entry.
*Sunscreen, hat, poncho, raincoat and appropriate footwear- This is an outdoor event, and there are limited undercover areas! Please come prepared for the forecasted weather conditions.
*It will cool off when the sun goes down, so please come prepared with a jacket, as there are NO PASS OUTS once you have entered the event.
*Come decked out in the most outrageous fancy dress you can find! Can't wait to see your costumes! And also a chance to join THE BEST DRESSED COMP!!!
What are prohibited items?
*Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. Including juice, soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks etc
*Metal cutlery, including cheese knives
*Sunshades, tents and tables
*Umbrellas
*Glass, including wine glasses
*Pets (other than guide dogs)
*Beanbags, blow-up air chairs or lounges
*Beach trolleys and soft eskies on wheels
*No hard cooler boxes....Soft cooler bags up to supermarket size only 26L!
There will be a security check at the Entry Gate and prohibited items will be confiscated. If you are found bringing alcohol/drugs into the event, you will be refused entry and your ticket VOID.
Can I bring Food and Drinks into the event?
There is strictly NO BYO ALCOHOL into the event. This is a licensed event and alcoholic beverages can be purchased from the bar. The bar shuts at 8pm. All non-alcoholic drinks including juice, soft drinks, sports drinks, energy drinks are also prohibited to enter the event (the only exception is sealed or empty plastic bottled water up to 1.5L)
The bar will serve a variety of drinks including beer, wine, pre-mixed spirits and softies!
As this is a “no glass” venue, bottles of wine will be poured into plastic carafes.
There will be a variety of food vendors on site, providing a range of delicious cuisine options for lunch/dinner/snacks. They will cater for vegetarians, gluten-free and vegan. Hot drinks and donuts will also be available.
Limited BYO snacks are allowed to a maximum 26L soft-sided esky.
