The Best of Portugal tasting will provide a unique overview of what’s happening right now to give you an oversight of the modern face of winemaking in this fascinating country.
Beth Willard has just returned from Portugal, having tasted a vast range of wines for the timatkin.com Portugal Special Report. Close to 100 different producers and 671 wines feature in the final report, including many older vintages that show the wonderful ageing potential of Portuguese wines, as well as future releases still in tank and barrel. This tasting will feature all the wines having scored over 93 points in the report - the best of the best. Beth even found her first Portuguese 100 point wine…
She says:
'We are thrilled to bring together some of Portugal’s best winemakers here in London, following the launch of our very first Portugal Report. It is the result of three weeks of intensive visits and tastings, from the Douro in the north to the Algarve in the south… and everything in between!
