SYNOPSIS
Best Little Cat House in Scab Holler is a rowdy farce set in a small Missouri town where Maude runs the local “cat house” with the help of her lifelong best friend Helen and a handful of fiercely independent women who have built a family under one very unconventional roof. Life in Scab Holler has always depended on a delicate balance of discretion, loyalty, and the town’s willingness to look the other way.
But when an unexpected complication arrives one evening, that balance is thrown into complete disarray. With a suspicious stranger asking questions, the local sheriff never far behind, and one of the women suddenly facing a life-changing moment of her own, Maude and her crew scramble to keep everything from unraveling.
Doors slam, secrets surface, and loyalties are tested as the women fight to protect their home—and each other—in this fast-paced comedy about friendship, survival, and the messy business of keeping a small-town secret. Best Little Cat House in Scab Holler is a madcap romp full of sharp humor, big personalities, and the reminder that sometimes the most unlikely places can feel the most like family.
