Bartow County Parks & Recreation is excited to have you join us November 7th for our inaugural 5K. Enjoy the race surrounded by tall trees, lake vistas and camping areas, all while seeing what Lake Allatoona and Gatewood Park each have to offer. This unique and scenic course is a one-of-a-kind...it is a point-to-point route...The 5K begins at the Lake Allatoona Dam,** but it ends at Gatewood Park. It starts at the lake-level and finishes at lake-level, but it does have a dam hill or two in between. The last 1.2mi. is either flat or downhill.
A portion of the proceeds will go to The Bookmobile!
