Tomas Palpallatoc (they/them) is a queer Filipinx poet who grew up in the outer Sunset district of San Francisco. After graduating college from UCSB, they did the only thing a person with not 1, but 2 humanities degrees could do, and began working with kids and performing slam poetry. This proved to be a net positive as Tomas has since had the privilege to perform on the Berkeley Slam team for the past 3 years.Â
Their writing centers on twinks, death, god, and how tired Tomas is of all 3 of them. Their poetry has been featured in a variety of literary journals such as The Catalyst, Spectrum, and Vagabond. Inbetwixt catatonic mukbangs of 3 hour long video essays, they love to bake for their friends, update their google calendar, play magic the gathering, and look for any more places in their life they can apply arbitrary point systems to.
