Artist Bio:
Edgar Galvez, also known as DrizzE, is a Chicano poet and artist rooted in Oakland. He is a first-generation college graduate from UC Davis, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology. With six years of experience in poetry and music, he aims to shed light on social justice issues and the struggles of his community. By sharing the stories of marginalized communities through the power of art, he strives to foster greater understanding and empathy among those who may be experiencing similar challenges or were previously unaware of them.
