The Beautiful Spill - Alcohol Ink Workshop

Join experience mixed media artist, Jo Harvey, to relax and enjoy a 3-hour beginners workshop in the unique world of alcohol inks.
Alcohol ink is a beautifully expressive medium, known for its rich colour, fluid movement, and luminous effects. In this guided session, Jo will introduce you to the foundations of working with alcohol ink, showing you how colours blend, shift, and bloom across the surface.
You’ll be supported step-by-step as you explore a range of techniques and create multiple artworks on different surfaces. With plenty of time to experiment and play, this workshop offers both skill-building and creative freedom—resulting in pieces that are uniquely your own.
This is a small-group class, allowing for individual guidance and a relaxed, focused experience. All materials are provided, including high-quality inks and surfaces, so you can fully enjoy the process without needing to bring a thing.
No experience is necessary—just a curiosity for colour and a willingness to explore.
You’ll leave with a collection of finished works and a strong foundation to continue exploring at home.
