The Beatrice Mastersingers are thrilled to be retuning to the beautiful St. Mary-St. Catherine church in Charlestown for an afternoon of advent music; performing carols, anthem, and Christmas favorites (ancient and modern) from Europe and the Americas in familiar arrangements by. John Rutter. Some examples will be sung a cappella; others will be accompanied by the
Woodberry & Harris organ. The audience will stand and join in festive and solemn
carols, in a traditional show which spreads seasonal joy and inspiration in abundance
The Beatrice MasterSingers, a Boston -based groups of 24 professionals dedicate themselves to the art of fine singing and the joy of communicating their love of this art to the public.
Founder and Artistic Director Stephanie Beatrice of has been praised as “A Force of Nature with a Baton” and for capturing the “dynamism of the music and ever - shifting moods with great sensitivity.”
Heinrich Christensen Organist and Choirmaster at the King’s Chapel, Boston, will support the choir and congregation.
Accompanied by the sonically amazing and beloved Woodberry & Harris Opus 100 of 1892 has three manuals, 37 stops, and 41 ranks (2501 pipes).
