The Barons with Aurora's Hope and Marissa Missing

The Barons is a US alternative band comprised of lead singer and guitarist Peyton Alley, drummer Mathes Glymph, lead guitarist Josiah Ragland, and bassist Kirtland Gray. Forming in 2016, the Virginia natives’ repertoire include various sounds ranging from heavy-hitting indie rock to a lighter fair of introspective love songs. The band’s most recent record “rock! or go to the association.” embodies both the beauty and destruction that coexist in The Barons’ sound. The tunes have allowed The Barons amass a following among colleges on the East Coast as well as supporting alternative acts such as Judah & The Lion, The Aces, Barns Courtney, and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

Marissa Missing

Marissa Missing is a Charlotte based indie pop artist. She is a prolific songwriter and has co-produced on all of her releases. Her first release of her 7 songs, “Used To You” is her best known with 1.6 thousand streams on Spotify and a music video. She is bringing more energy to her sound with Joseph Gallo producing her upcoming album. She combines her own style with subtle elements of bands like Panic! At the Disco and Lana Del Rey, which were influential to her beginning songwriting and performing. Eager to continue to grow as an artist, she is studying voice at Central Piedmont Community College. She has done benefit concerts for causes she is passionate about including Women’s Rights events at the Milestone Club and Resident Culture Brewing. She sang the national anthem at a Charlotte Knights game. Her stage presence, catchy songs, and storytelling make for an unforgettable and fun experience every show.
