Ever wanted to learn more about whisk(e)y? Tried bourbon and scotch, but want to explore more pours from around the world? Want to know why we keep putting parenthesis around the "e" in whiskey? Now is your chance, because, when it comes to whisk(e)y, there is no such thing as a stupid question!
Whisk(e)y 101 is your chance to expand your knowledge and palette in an intimate setting hosted by Tommy Patrick (Co-Owner of The Ballard Cut and Curator of the 1000+ Whisk(e)ys on our wall).
This event will include:
- 10 pours of whiskey from America, Ireland, Japan and Scotland with a walkthrough of flavor profiles and histories highlighting what makes these pours the perfect example of their respective styles.
*Please note: the total volume of liquor that will be poured for this event will be 5 oz*
- An extravagant charcuterie board from the the kitchen of The Ballard Cut.
- A take home bottle of whiskey.
- The option to purchase hard to find bottles from the Distilleries at that day's tasting.
