A quirky, storm-swept tale of music, memory, and mischief...Join us for a screening of The Ballad of Wallis Island, a charmingly offbeat indie gem that blends humour, heartache, and harmony.
Eccentric lottery winner Charles lives alone on a remote island, dreaming of a private concert by his favourite musician, Herb McGwyer. But when Charles secretly invites Herb’s ex-bandmate and ex-girlfriend Nell (along with her new husband) the stage is set for a reunion no one saw coming.
As old tensions resurface and the weather turns wild, the island becomes a pressure cooker of unresolved emotions and unexpected revelations. Can Charles salvage his dream gig, or will the storm wash it all away?
