Our freshly baked Bake Off is a lively, playful theatrical experiment where three playwrights each create a brand-new short play inspired by the same classic story. With three directors and three casts, each play takes the source material in a completely different direction, offering audiences a fun and fascinating look at how stories can transform through different voices, styles, and imaginations.This year, our Bake Off is inspired by The Crucible, Arthur Miller’s classic drama about suspicion and the stories people choose to believe. Its themes offer a rich starting point for three brand-new plays that explore how truth and courage can be tested in very different ways. Featuring new plays by Bethany Ann Barrett, Seth Jarvis, and Susan Palmer.
