THE Baggage Exchange™ hosts its first Women's Empowerment Brunch: Melanin Edition. This Inaugural event centers melanated women, but all women are welcome and encouraged to attend. Expect great food, great music, real talk, and an inviting space where you can finally set down some of the baggage you've been carrying around and move forward lighter with Healing. Opportunity. Purpose. Empowerment (H.O.P.E.).

Here's the idea: We are all on a life journey. Therefore, we all carry baggage. Some, more heavier than others. At the brunch, you show up with your personal sized baggage, and Dr. Shay Baker guides you through the process of trading what weighs you down in your personal bag for what lifts you up. You will emerge from the brunch enlightened, with real tools (The H.O.P.E. Bag) to commemorate your attendance, your H.O.P.E. Passport to document your travels within your new community with us, and sooooo much more than a full belly. Through games, raffle drawings, laughter, and even some tears, we join together to support one another over an amazing brunch! You do not want to miss this event! See you there!
