The Bag and The Burden

Pastor Stephanie A. Guy serves as Executive Pastor of Hope City Empowerment Church under the leadership of Apostle Cameron A. Washington and Overseer Nya Washington. “EP”, as she is affectionately called, has always had a passion for servitude and has an extensive background in pastoral care and administration. That passion, coupled with her obedience to a prophetic word spoken to her by her Apostle, began the work of EP creating The Bag and The Burden Pastoral Care summit and subsequently, she penned her first published eBook also entitled, The Bag and The Burden.

EP's prayer is for those attending this summit to be encouraged to continue the very necessary work of pastoral care. The Bible tells us in 1 Samuel 14:7 that when Jonathan went to fight the Philistines, he told his armor bearer who answered and said, "Do all that is in your heart. Do as you wish. Behold, I am with you heart and soul." They went together, just the two of them, and defeated thousands of their enemies.

You are vital to the victory of your ministries and those whom you serve. It is not for the faint at heart... But lean into the power that lies within you and be confident that no matter who you are or what you’ve experienced in your life - you are more than equipped to carry The Bag and The Burden!
