Join us for a high-energy night of blues-rock with The Bad Pennies, one of BC’s most exciting up-and-coming bands!
Formed in Vancouver in 2022, The Bad Pennies bring a dynamic blend of electric blues, rock, and gritty grooves. The band first came together when Jeff Baker (guitar/vocals) and Mark Milner (bass) began jamming at Pandora’s Box Studios. They’ve been on a roll ever since — playing top local venues and representing BC at the 2024 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee, lighting up stages along Beale Street, including the iconic Rum Boogie Café.
Their current lineup features:
Jeff Baker – Guitar/Vocals
Mark Milner – Bass
Francisco Bonilla – Guitar/Vocals/Percussion (from Mexico City!)
Guenter Schulz – Drums
You may have seen them at The Blarney Stone, The Princeton, Lana Lou’s, or rocking out at The Frog Pub, The Admiral, The Landing, and more. Now it’s West Van’s turn.
