Stop trying to be interesting and start being "bad" at art.

Most events in Ottawa are a performance. The Bad Drawing Club is the antidote. We’ve curated a 90-minute "Parallel Play" session at Beyond The Pale where the activity does the work for you.

How it works:

• Phase 1: The Scribble. I’ll give the table a ridiculous prompt (e.g., "A T-Rex in a tuxedo"). You have 45 seconds to scribble it. We all reveal our "masterpieces" at once.
• Phase 2: The Scramble. We immediately pivot to a 60-second table stunt. Think: "How many marshmallows can you stack before the timer hits zero?" or "Can you toss a ping-pong ball into a cup using only one hand?"
• The Result: You aren't here to network. You're here to laugh at the chaos. It’s an easy, high-energy way to spend an evening without the typical social exhaustion.

No art skills. No cringe. Just sips (and/or food) and chaotic scribbles.
