The Backyard Stories art exhibition opening reception is April 9th 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The exhibition runs from April 9th to June 29th. Artworks are for sale.
The Backyard Stories was born of a love of flowers and vegetation. The exhibition highlights private places and spaces, namely backyards. The yards have stories, as do their owners, illustrating the personalities and creativity of the gardeners who build them.
The diversity of the landscapes and the resulting paintings in the show demonstrate the need we all have to express ourselves in some way.
The work focuses on a variety of backyard spaces from homey to park-like. All are alive with saturated color and bold compositions.
