Join us Friday, October 10 at 7pm for The Author Afterparty featuring Melissa Febos & Donika Kelly! Celebrating the releases of The Dry Season, and The Natural Order of ThingsStoryhouse’s bestselling memoirist, Melissa Febos, and award-winning poet, Donika Kelly, return for a conversation about joy, love, eros, and becoming whole. Melissa and Donika are not only powerhouse writers - they are married to each other, teachers of their craft, and completely enthralling speakers.

Why “Author Afterparty”? Because we want our author readings to feel like a fun hang with your book friends and not scholarly or stuffy. We see these evenings more like throwing a little party where you get a chance to mingle with the authors over drinks and dessert in the bookstore before heading upstairs to RAYGUN’S mezzanine for a reading and conversation around the authors’ work.
$10 tickets cover the cost of drinks and dessert from a local baker and help us plan how to best make it a nice time for everyone.
