In a nutshell
The process to produce a wholly Australian home grown yarn relies on good management starting with good pasture,clean water,shade minerals in blocks, and planned timing in regards to lambing and shearing to ensure healthy fleeces.
Sheep are like people treat them well and you will be rewarded.The fibre artisans in this industry I have found are a pleasure to do business with and stall holders are considerate to each other.
Shearing is important a competent shearer,a clean shed and good skill set in skirting including safe transporting to the Scour.
All processors are Australian businesses scour EP ROBINSON, TOP making CASHMERE CONNECTIONS, yarn manufacturing at BENDIGO WOOLLEN MILL.
