For thirteen years, The Auction at MCAD has always been a memorable evening full of creative vibes, good food and drinks, music, immersive experiences and art galore. Featuring more than fifty works curated from artists across the country, the Auction gives you the chance to add to your collection, while building up scholarships and turning up the creative voices that shape the Twin Cities and beyond. The galleries are filled with paintings, photography, prints, jewelry, and more, given generously by artists who believe in making an MCAD education accessible to all.
And there is so much to enjoy! Bites by Paris Dining Club Chef Jamie Malone. Cool cocktails and mocktails. Music that moves us. Unique studio experiences. And a radiant raffle featuring original artwork by Genie Castro.
Led by Auctioneer Christopher Hermann and Live Auction Director Rob Sherer of The Orange Advisory, the live auction honors celebrated artists George Morrison ’43 and Julie Buffalohead '95. Bid high, bid often, and change young people’s lives.
