How did Athens evolve into a democratic society without a revolution? What were the particular workings of its democratic system, and were they truly democratic? Join Dr. Robert Garland, the Roy D. and Margaret B. Wooster Emeritus Professor of the Classics at Colgate University, and author of numerous books, as he examines Athens' experiment in democracy in his "Democracy: From Beginning to Now" series.
Registrants are welcome but not required to attend all events to enjoy and learn from the individual lectures.
