Event will include:

-Art exhibition of three main collections throughout the entire night for visual. TAG @ PITREASHLEY on social media for reference! :)

-Short speech/presentation from artist @ 7:30 pm (subject to change)

-Live painting session done by artist (TBA)

-Artist games/quizlit

-Live music/spoken word ft special guests (TBA)

-Light refreshments/light appetizer snacks

-Available prints & merch by Artist for purchase

ARTIST BIO:

Ashley C. Pitre (Ashley Pitre; Ashley Pitre Coca Garcia) was born in Queens, New York into an evangelical ministry family. She obtained a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Advertising/Public Relations with a minor in graphic design and has theological background in Bible studies after attending a Christian university in Florida. Ashley began drawing at the age of 11, and at 13 became an art major at Fiorello H. LaGuardia arts high school in New york City, as well as Arts & Business. She participated in many gallery exhibitions and duck stamp competitions, including vendor markters, pop up shows, live paintings for creative arts events and much more. In college she created her brand, "Art by Ashley Pitre" which trended with her black and white illustrations based on bible verses. She continued to paint and showcase her work as she dove deep into abstract painting and expressionism through her choice of colors and freestyle work, inspired by her favorite artist, Salvador Dali. Aside from art, Ashley also unleashed her passion for dance, music, worship and writing, and now uses all her talents to lead all generations to know the ways of Christ. Ashley also has four Christian books for teens and young adults, titled “The Art of Identity”, "Overcoming Disappointment”, "Less of me More of Jesus", and "Loved" where she addresses Christian-based biblical and personal guides for the youth to get closer to Christ despite their stages of heartbreak, confusion, peer pressure, pain, and loneliness and comparison.

Alongside her husband Gerson, they serve Jesus through evangelizing the gospel and leading the community into collective worship in their local church and outside the local church. You can find on youtube and on digital streaming platforms new worship music that is being released today by Ashley such as Te Amo Rey/Te Exalto, the Spanish language version of the infamous hymn “I love you Lord and I Exalt Thee, and other evangelistic preachings and events.

Ashley's biblical artwork first reached the attention and hearts of many with black and white visuals that sold numerously in art shows and events. Her most well-known art piece is called "Home is where the tree is".

Ashley is bilingual and is pursuing the Portuguese language.

Ashley will be presenting ALL collections of her abstract work on canvas/prints.

****All children present must NOT run or be active during exhibition hours, since artwork will be around the room. Any work damaged or knocked down will result in a fee of $150.

****Please do not bring outside food or drinks in exhibition space.

****Refrain from touching easles & artwork since it can fall/damage.

****Please respect the space & pace of others during exhibition. All questions on artwork will be answered accordingly by artist during speech segment.

*****Work is inspired by Ashley's faith and beliefs. She is a devoted Christian and follows the bible. Ashley is open for all discussions based on her decision to incorporate such beliefs in her work.
