Welcome to The Artist Experience: Painting Workshop!
Join us for a vibrant and inspiring in-person event where creativity takes center stage. Whether you're a seasoned painter or picking up a brush for the first time, this workshop offers a supportive space to explore your artistic side.
The color palette for this experience is inspired by Black history, featuring rich reds, deep greens, bold golds, and powerful blacks- complemented by grounding earth tones. Together, these colors symbolize resilience, excellence, unity, growth, cultural legacy, and our deep connection to the earth. This intentional color story will guide the atmosphere and creative direction of the workshop, honoring heritage while encouraging bold self-expression and rooted creativity.
Guided by the talented artist AJ Hollywood, you’ll learn a variety of painting techniques, experiment with meaningful color, and bring your imagination to life—one brushstroke at a time. By the end of the session, you’ll walk away with a personal masterpiece and renewed artistic confidence.
All ages and experience levels are welcome.
Advance reservation is required. All materials are provided, including canvases, acrylic paint, and brushes—just bring your creativity!

About AJ Hollywood:
“AJ” is a skilled visual artist with extensive experience in drawing, painting, and mural creation. His work reflects a deep passion for storytelling through vivid colors and dynamic compositions. In addition to his personal art practice, AJ dedicates time to teaching art classes for seniors, fostering creativity and self-expression within the community. His classes emphasize technique while encouraging students to explore their inner child using their unique artistic voices. With years of experience, he inspires others through both his own artwork and his role as a supportive educator.
