This hands-on photography workshop will give you exclusive access to the unique animal kingdom that is WILDLIFE Sydney Zoo at Darling Harbour. You’ll be introduced to the skills required to photograph all creatures great and small, including making what’s microscopic look larger than life through the niche method of macro photography.
During this workshop, you’ll gain rare access to the zoo before it opens to the public, giving you the freedom to roam around and explore its grounds. You’ll meet some of Australia’s most iconic species of both land and water animals as they thrive in this authentically recreated natural habitat.
You’ll then have the opportunity to learn from Nikon School Lecturer Richard Bulley, who’ll teach you the key terms and techniques, as well as the correct camera settings and lens choices required to photograph wildlife in all its unpredictability.
As you’ll be meeting zookeepers and learning how to take flawless, uninterrupted close-ups of the zoo’s reptile population, it’s important to bring along your macro lens in addition to your DSLR or mirrorless camera.
Skill Level: Entry level to Intermediate.
