Inspired by The Art of Unraveling, this Soma Yin Intro Workshop is a deep, embodied exploration of how our nervous systems shape our bodies, relationships, and lived experiences — and how healing begins when we learn to listen inward.
This workshop blends yin yoga, somatic awareness, and nervous system education to help participants gently uncover the places they armor, brace, and hold tension as a result of survival patterns. Rather than focusing on quick regulation techniques alone, this experience invites you into the next layer of healing: understanding how your nervous system influences everything from emotional responses to physical holding patterns — and learning how to release from the inside out.
Through longer-held yin postures, intuitive movement, guided somatic practices, and reflective discussion, participants will explore:
**How survival responses live in the body
**Where we unconsciously brace and protect ourselves
**How chronic stress and trauma shape posture, breath, and emotional patterns
**Somatic pathways for release, safety, and reconnection
**The deeper intelligence of the body as a guide for healing
