GET REAL!Before you can be funny you have to be real. In this intensive one-day workshop you'll learn the basic principals of The Art of Slow Comedy, which make long-form improvisation as easy as having a conversation!
*Get tools to build solid improv scenes
*Take the pressure off of being "funny "
*Have an emotional life on stage
*React honestly to your partner
*Tap into your life experiences
*Learn scenic long form
AND THEN GET ON STAGE!
After the 3-hour workshop, we'll have a short break and then students will take their tools live for an invited-audience performance on The Laughing Academy stage. Jimmy will watch the performance and meet with the class/cast afterwards for a brief note session to help amplify the lessons gained in the workshop.
The best way to learn is by doing, and the right time to leap is always NOW!
