About the Artist:
Niki Lopez is an award-winning Afro-Latina interdisciplinary visual artist and social practitioner. Known for her vibrant mixed-media work, Niki incorporates masks and mask elements as symbolic self-portraits, reflecting themes of personal transformation and social change. Through her nonprofit, What’s Your Elephant™, she creates spaces for dialogue, healing, and empowerment, using art as a tool for self-expression and community connection.
