This premier fundraising event supports Whitaker Center’s mission to inspire curiosity and education in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM). Neon is more than just a chemical element, a noble gas, and the second lightest noble gas after helium—it’s a statement. It’s the bold glow that cuts through the dark, igniting curiosity and wonder.
Just as science illuminates discovery and art brings emotions to life, neon embodies both. We chose this element as the perfect muse for a night that celebrates the Whitaker Center’s mission — merging the boundless creativity of art with the relentless pursuit of scientific exploration.
