Fire is more than just heat and light; it is a living entity, a catalyst for transformation, and a bridge between the physical and spiritual realms. Join us at the Chacana Spiritual Center for an immersive 1.5-hour journey into the ancient art of the sacred fire.
In this workshop, we move beyond simple "camping skills" and enter the realm of ceremony. You will learn how to approach the element of fire with intention, respect, and deep presence.
In this workshop you will learn:
The energy and intention behind creating a sacred fire
Sacred Fire etiquette when choosing materials, placement, rotation, etc.
Fire building and breakdown
General fire safety
What you need:
Notebook and pen
Water to drink
Sunscreen or bug spray as needed
Jacket or coat if you might get cold due to the weather
Wear close toed shoes
Wear comfortable, yet fitted cloths. We want to prevent excessively loose clothing that could catch fire.
A long-neck lighter. (Not electric, not a torch.)
About your teacher:
Rob is a current Chacana Spiritual Center student on the shamanic path. He is a constant fixture at the center assisting classes, ceremony, and occasionally leading moon ceremonies. He is a leader in our community and we are excited to see where Spirit leads him.
