About this Event
Welcome to The Art of Powerful Questions
As a part of a wider programme building participatory leadership and capacity to instigate change within Sheffield, VAS and partners have invited internationally recognized process host and story activist, Mary Alice Arthur, for a day workshop exploring The Art of Powerful Questions.
Whether you are engaging in social or environmental change as a leader, activist, coach, policy maker or facilitator, or as a caring citizen, finding, shaping and living a powerful question is a key leadership and life skill.
A powerful question can be a doorway into a different perspective, close the gap between people, be a bridge to understanding.
The workshop is in two parts. First learning where to find, how to craft and how to sharpen powerful questions. Then taking those questions into The Flow Game -- a powerful tool for creating an interactive space for reflection, dialogue and action for communities, teams and individuals.
This event is hosted by VAS at the Circle, 33 Rockingham Lane, Sheffield S1 4FW (a 15 minute walk from Sheffield train station).
Teas, coffee and fruit/biscuits are included.
Please bring lunch. We are located close to local shops and cafes if needed.
