Month of Photography Denver (MOP) is a celebration of photographic arts that occurs biannually during the month of March across the Denver region. For MOP 2025, 40 West Gallery will be hosting an open call juried photography exhibition. The theme of the show is simply “The Art of Photography” and the artwork demonstrates the wide range of what photography can say about the practice of art.📸🖼️
Photography can tell compelling stories and explore complex themes. When combined with the skillful use of composition, lighting, color, tone, texture and other visual elements, it can be elevated to art!
Juried by local fine art photographer Thomas Carr, whose work has been exhibited in major art and cultural institutions for over 40 years. The opening reception will be during First Friday March 7th and the exhibition will be showing until March 30th. Come out and celebrate The Art of Photography with us!
