A FREE Give a •DARN• event for kids lead by Jennifer Williams, the amazing Ag teacher at Bok Academy North!
It's that time of year again....why this project you ask? Did you know that Butterflies are pollinators? Pollinators are responsible for 1 out of every 3 bites of food we eat!
This is a hands on project that •DARN• will be providing all the supples for FREE of charge for the kids!
Each child will leave with a box that they have decorated and constructed themselves. Miss Jennifer will assist each child with moving the caterpillar from its container to it's new habitat to make sure it is secure.
Your child will get to take the box with his/her Caterpillar (that will turn into a Chrysalis) home to watch its transform into a beautiful butterfly!
Once the butterfly has emerged and the wings have dried, we ask that you take a picture or video releasing the Butterly, post it on social and tag @GiveaDARN
The event will only be for 2 hours which means that we will only be able to accommodate approximately 20 kids this time.
If you are interested, please Private message us so we can put your Childs name on the list. We have 4 different time slots to choose from as it will take about 20-30 minutes to create. Please indicate which time slot you would like.
