This conducting workshop is open toestablished and emerging conductors of
school, youth, community, and university
orchestras, church music directors, and
conducting students. The workshop covers gesture, movement, rehearsal technique, score study, and other topics by request.
Professional Development Credit is available.
All active participants will receive ample
podium time and coaching. Auditors will also be accepted. All active participants and auditors who are able will play in the workshop string orchestra. Enrollment is limited to a maximum of 15 active participants.
Repertoire: Participants will choose string
orchestra repertoire that they would like to conduct and will supply parts for the
ensemble.
