This hands-on event will take place at EDGE Stadium (Office Building with Miro sign on the front), located at Fred. Roeskestraat 100 in the vibrant city of Amsterdam, hosted by , a social enterprise with a mission to create employment for women from disadvantaged communities.

Attendees will enjoy:

• A handmade textile of your choice to print on; choose from a cotton tea towel or tote bag, each lovingly crafted by our artisan partners in India
• A brief introduction to Shakti.ism’s mission and social impact, supporting and empowering women artisans across South Asia and further across the Global South
• A deep-dive into the history and technique of block printing, one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful textile traditions
• A chance to experiment with our vast collection of handmade blocks, play with eco-friendly inks, and create your own unique designs
• Homemade masala chai and a snack to fuel your creativity
• A warm, creative, community atmosphere – and a meaningful handmade piece to take home or gift
