🌟 VIFF: My Uncle Bristol Foster and Robert Bateman’s World Premiere! 🌟I’m thrilled to share that the Vancouver International Film Festival is premiering The Art of Adventure, a documentary about my uncle, Bristol Foster, and Robert Bateman’s incredible journey to circumnavigate the world in a Land Rover called “the Grizzly Torque”! 🚗🌏
This inspiring Canadian story shows how two extraordinary men—Bateman, who began as an art teacher and became a beloved wildlife painter, and Foster, a pioneering biologist and BC’s first director of Ecological Reserves—embarked on a 14,000 km adventure across Africa, India, Southeast Asia, and Australia. Featuring original 16mm footage and interviews, it’s heartwarming, educational, and unforgettable.
