About this Event
What does it mean to preserve a life, a story, a moment?
The Art & Joy of Archiving is a welcoming, community-centered experience that invites you to explore the beauty and power of documenting your personal and collective history.
In a time when so many stories risk being lost or erased, this gathering offers a chance to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with the importance of preservation—not just as a practice, but as an act of care, identity, and celebration.
Led by photographer and multimedia storyteller Delilah Peach, this session will introduce you to the foundations of archiving and visual storytelling. Delilah will share pieces from her own personal archive—including materials dating back to the 1950s—offering a rare and intimate look at how images and objects can hold generations of meaning.
Through storytelling, conversation, and guided learning, you’ll begin to see your own photos, memories, and everyday items in a new light—as living history worth preserving.
Whether you’re just beginning or simply curious, this experience will leave you inspired to honor your story and the stories that came before you.

Meet Your Facilitator
Delilah Peach is a NJ/NY-based photographer, digital creator, and multimedia storyteller with over 20 years of experience capturing both everyday and extraordinary moments. Raised in Manhattan’s Lower East Side by artisan parents, her work is deeply rooted in visual history, storytelling, and personal archives.
Her practice lives at the intersection of memory, media, and empowerment—supporting individuals and communities, especially youth and underfunded groups, in taking ownership of their narratives and preserving their histories with care and intention.
Who This Is For
This event is open to anyone curious about storytelling, photography, memory, and preservation—no prior experience needed.
Why This Matters
Archiving is more than organizing photos—it’s about honoring where we come from, preserving what matters, and shaping how our stories are remembered.
