Welcome to The Arroyo Comedy Club — Highland Park’s newest home for live stand-up.

Every show features top comedians from Netflix, Comedy Central, and the LA comedy scene, performing on the back patio of one of Highland Park’s hottest bars. Expect an elevated, intimate comedy experience paired with expertly crafted cocktails, great food, and a laid-back neighborhood crowd.

LINEUP:

Cameron Esposito (Netflix, CBS)

A nationally and internationally touring headliner, Cameron has released three specials, including the culture-shifting Rape Jokes, and three albums, the award-winning Same Sex Symbol amongst them.

As an actor, Cameron has been seen on Netflix, Max, ABC, NBC, Hulu, and more, as well as in budget films and Sundance indies.

Beyond this, Cameron hosted two long-running, much-lauded podcasts, Put Your Hands Together and Queery, and released a best-selling memoir, Save Yourself. Cameron’s writing has also appeared in The New York Times and Vanity Fair.

Cameron’s next hour of standup, 4Pills, will be released as a special by Dropout in April 2025.

They live in Los Angeles with their wife & dog.

Anna Simeri (9.5 Comedy Special)

Anna Simeri is a Los Angeles–based comedian and writer with a sharp, self-deprecating style that turns everyday chaos into laugh-out-loud confessionals. She recently released her one-hour special 9.5 on YouTube and has performed at clubs and festivals across the country. Anna produces her own live shows in Los Angeles, blending her love of storytelling with her talent for wrangling the unexpected. Her comedy has been described as “relatable, but slightly unhinged”—which she considers the highest compliment. When she’s not onstage, Anna can be found overthinking text messages, experimenting with collagen, or wondering if she’s allergic to ambition.

Simon Gibson (Amazon, Netflix)

The co-host of NBC and USA Network's CANNONBALL, LA-based comedian Simon Gibson exploded onto the comedy scene after a stand out performance at the Just For Laughs New Faces showcase in Montreal, touring cities across the country and recently appearing in the SYFY series THE MOVIE SHOW and in Netflix's BREWS BROTHERS.
