A 44Events ‘Food Battle’
The highlight of the street food calendar. Boasting a mantra “curry is life” 44Events celebrate Indian cuisine with a weekend of small plates, curries, sides, and fusion dishes from the city's best. From the people behind Battle Of The Burger, Slice Wars, and the Mexican StandOff you can expect similar foodie fanfare with the added comfort of roaring fires, cosy corners, and autumn warmers throughout. Once again hosted by Wylam Brewery, the event sees the last of a 2023 calendar that has hosted some of the biggest street food celebrations in Newcastle.
‘WILL MY DELHI SUCCEED IN DEFENDING THEIR TITLE?’
Taking place Friday 10th November from 5pm.
Saturday 11th November from 12 midday.
Serving food ‘til 10.30pm both days.
The event hosts over 15 specialist food vendors, desserts, a dedicated gin bar, coffee station, and all to the curated beat of One20 dj’s. As always the event is FREE at the point of entry, no ticket required, and tokens can be purchased for food from the reception. People are encouraged to sample a variety of vendors before choosing their favourite via the Food Battles website. Everyone will be playing to win, however there can be only one.
Winner announced the following week.
