In this powerful memoir, McCray reflects on the lessons, discipline, and exposure gained through an apprenticeship that changed his life—and how that foundation led him to a life of purpose, policy, and service. About the Author:
Cory McCray is a father, husband, and public servant who began his professional journey as an electrical apprentice. Today, he serves in the Maryland State Senate and continues to advocate for working families, young people, and underserved communities. His story has been featured in The Washington Post, MSNBC, and C-SPAN.
