About this Event
The Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh has a collection of Museum in a Box loan kits which are available for loan to schools in Edinburgh and surrounding areas.

Through activities students will learn where ingredients are sourced, how medicines from 1600s to1800s were made, and which ingredients physicians used to treat which illnesses.
The Apothecary contains four different activity packs, a folder of archive materials and 12 different objects. It also contains 12 smelling objects for students to investigate and match to their source.
