Ammereta Gaskin, LMFT, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, and anxiety expert. She helps people create healthy relationships by teaching them how to assess their foundation and redevelop effective communication approaches. She has practiced therapy for 12 years and is the owner and lead therapist of the private practice, Refined Vision Therapy. 

Ammereta earned her undergraduate degree from the HBCU, Savannah State University, in Savannah, GA. She earned her graduate degree from Mercer University in Macon, GA. She has additional certification in pre-marital counseling and training for counseling adults with anxiety disorders. 

Ammereta is a co-host on the podcast The Sedated Therapist where the focus is to destigmatize mental health in black culture, dismantle myths and introduce the benefits of therapy through related conversations and cultural topics.
