Every year we take over 𝐑𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐳𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐦 for a full day of braai smoke, good vibes, too many dops, loads of laughs, and all the home food we’ve been missing. Think massive shared tables, kids running wild, dogs living their best lives, and a whole lot of “ag shame” and “eish” floating through the air 😄

This is a 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲-𝐟𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲, 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠-𝐚𝐧𝐝-𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐣𝐨𝐥, so please bring something lekker for the communal table:

• Salads / sides
• Baked goods / puddings
• Snacks from home

🌧️ WEATHER PLAN
For the past 5 years we’ve dodged the rain like pros.
If it 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 rain — we just do what Germans say:
“𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞’𝐬 𝐧𝐨 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫, 𝐨𝐧𝐥𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬.”
If you’ve got gazebos or umbrellas, bring them along just in case.
🌭 FOOD FOR SALE
Bring some cash — 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐞 will be selling boerewors (5 euro) rolls and other homemade goodies.
