Start your Independence Day week off with a program of July 4th favorites! Join Roswell UMC on June 28 at 7:30 p.m. and June 30 at 3 p.m. for these popular annual favorites.Featuring the RUMC Sanctuary Choir and Atlanta Wind Symphony, these concerts include performances of America the Beautiful, God Bless America, The Stars and Stripes Forever, and other favorites. An annual highlight is the musical Armed Forces Salute, honoring veterans and active duty military personnel! The concerts will also include inspiring Broadway favorites celebrating the passion, loyalty, honor, and service of our great nation.
This year's program features Ken Double as narrator. Ken is an award-winning broadcaster whose 5-year broadcast career included NBA and Big Ten basketball, NHL, IHL and AHL hockey, the worldwide radio broadcast of the Indianapolis 500 Mile Race, and hundreds of other events. Ken is also the President of the Atlanta Theatre Organ Society and regularly entertains audiences at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre as the masterful organist playing “Mighty Mo”, the Fox’s Moeller pipe organ.
Tickets are not needed; complimentary preschool childcare is available.
