The merchants of Pioneer Park present THE ANNUAL GOLDEN DAYS GREAT BATHTUB RACE! Join us for this hilarious and fun tradition! Make a team and race through the streets of Goldrush Town in a tub full of water OR bring the whole family to watch! Either way you'll have a blast! This event is FREE for spectators!
We'll have celebrity judges and CASH PRIZES!
TEAM SIGN UP: Want to join in the fun rather than just watch? Register by emailing [email protected] by 5pm on July 20, 2024. Registration fee is $25 dollars per team, payable on the day of the race by 2pm.
RACE RULES: Teams of 5 only! One team member must sit in a "tub" (this can be anything that holds water) that is filled with water and bubbles. At the end of the race there must be at least one gallon of water left in the "tub." Required props that must be part of the race are 1 bar of soap, 1 towel, 1 wash cloth and 1 bath mat. No motorized or mechanical "tubs" are permitted.
