The Animal Experience Reptile Edition / Una Experiencia Animal

THE ANIMAL EXPERIENCE. At this event, we hope to provide exactly what it said in the name an EXPERIENCE!

This day will not only be fun, but educational. All who attend this event will have the opportunity to learn about reptiles, Chinchillas, and a few other special animals. The presentation will be conducted by The Mobile Zoo Company from the Inland Empire and conducted in American Sign Language (ASL).

In addition to learning about animals, our attendees will get to experience learning a new language. At the Animal Experience, attendees will be taught a few basic signs in American Sign Language. This will include learning the signs of each animal and much more. They will also meet our Deaf and Hard of Hearing Cultural Specialist, Estefania Pena, who will also give a brief presentation on Inland Regiona Center Services and Resourse.

The fun doesn’t stop there. After the presentation, get ready for a scavenger hunt where attendees can find toy animals placed around the event. Show the corresponding sign for each animal found and they will win a prize!

Don't worry about getting hungry, because we will end the event with an animal-themed feast.

UNA EXPERIENCIA ANIMAL. En este evento, esperamos ofrecer exactamente lo que dice el nombre.

Este día no sólo será divertido, sino también educativo. Todos los que asistan a este evento tendrán la oportunidad de aprender sobre reptiles, aves exóticas y algunos otros animales especiales. La presentación se llevará a cabo por la tienda de mascotas de Abe aquí en San Bernardino con interpretado en Lengua de Señas Americana (ASL).

Además de aprender sobre los animales, nuestros asistentes podrán experimentar el aprendizaje de un nuevo idioma. En la Experiencia con animales, los asistentes aprenderán algunos signos básicos en ASL. Aprenderán los señas de cada animal y mucho más. También conocerán a nuestra Especialista Cultural en Sordera y Discapacidad Auditiva, Estefanía Peña, que les explicará brevemente por qué organizamos este evento.

La diversión no acaba aquí. Después de la presentación, prepárate para una búsqueda del tesoro en la que los asistentes podrán encontrar animales de juguete repartidos por todo el evento. Muestren el cartel correspondiente a cada animal encontrado y ganarán un premio.

No se preocupe si se queda con hambre, porque terminaremos el acto con un festín de temática animal.
