Join Ancient Path Ministries for our annual Angler’s Path Fly Fishing Adventure — a four-day experience crafted to help men step out of the noise, breathe again, and remember who they were made to be.
We believe men don’t find their true selves in the grind of daily life but often rediscover them under wide skies, on wild waters, and in honest brotherhood. Not every man wears camo or casts a fly rod — but every man is made for adventure. And maybe this is yours.
As Jamie Winship says: “You were never designed to live a domesticated life… you were made to live fully alive.”
What Is Angler’s Path?
A guided, 2-day drift boat fly fishing adventure on the legendary South Holston and Watauga Rivers — chasing trout and smallmouth while exploring the deeper currents of the heart. Through teaching sessions, solitude, storytelling, and shared meals, you’ll reconnect with your identity, your fathering story, the wild places inside you, and the God who calls you His own.

Your Adventure Includes:
Four nights lodging at Tail Waters Lodge
(Optional Upgrade) Premium cabins available — 8 spots only, just $300 additional per man
All meals and materials
Two full days fly fishing from a drift boat
One day wading and a special time remembering our boyhood
Lunch and all boat gear included
What’s Not Included:
Waders, boots, rods, or personal gear

Saturday Highlight — The Thankful Feast
On Saturday evening we share The Thankful Feast, an Ancient Path Seder — a sacred, joyful celebration of gratitude, story, brotherhood, and God’s faithfulness. This is often the moment men remember most: a candlelit table, good food, shared stories, and the sense that God is nearer than we thought.
