Hi sisters,I’m Anjel. I’m a survivor, an MSW student, and a mother who knows exactly what it feels like to carry a "mental load" that feels impossible to lift alone. I’ve been in that crisis moment where you reach out for help and get told there’s a 26-minute wait.
I don't want any of us to have to wait anymore.
I am starting a local initiative for us to find common ground. This first meeting is just the beginning—the "wheels turning" phase. It’s a safe, sacred space for women who are surviving abuse and the daily exhaustion of womanhood to finally be heard.
This is a work in progress, and I want us to build it together so that all our needs for support are actually met. No experts, no long wait times—just us.
