The "Just Try It" Mini Golf Party

Join us for a delightful evening of mini golf fun at the Hurt Hub on Wednesday, May 8th from 5:30-7:00 PM! We're celebrating the conclusion of the Verna Miller Case (VMC) Symposium with a unique twist – our creative teams will have designed and built their own mini golf holes using recycled materials and lots of imagination.

• A playful mini golf course created by students, Hurt Hub coworkers, Davidson staff and faculty, and community members
• Casual lawn games for all ages
• Complimentary snacks and refreshing drinks
• Upbeat music creating a festive atmosphere
• Awards ceremony at 7:00 PM for the most creative hole design

This family-friendly event welcomes everyone – students, faculty, staff, coworkers, community members, and especially kids! No golfing experience necessary – just bring your enthusiasm and sense of adventure.

The theme "Just Try It!" perfectly captures the spirit of this event: experimentation, fun, and community connection. Come witness firsthand how design thinking principles transform everyday materials into playful challenges.

Take a break from your routine and enjoy this unique end-of-symposium celebration with the Davidson College community. The course will be open from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM, giving you plenty of time to try every creative hole and participate in all the festivities.
