On Sunday, October 20, from 12-2 p.m. at Memorial Park, the Blue Dot Energy group and Douglas County Democrats are teaming up for a free, family-friendly event: The formation of a "human blue dot," which will be captured via aerial footage!
Beginning at noon, we'll have a DJ, balloon artist, face painter, food trucks, and 1,000 free cookies available for participants of all ages. JUST WEAR BLUE!
Beginning around 1 p.m., we'll assemble to form our blue dot. Police and press will be in attendance for security and media coverage.
Afterward, photos and videos of the "human dot" will be available for free online - so you can keep and frame a piece of art and history that you helped create!
Please RSVP online for headcount purposes, but anyone is welcome to show up, with or without an RSVP.
